Packaging

To reduce the environmental burden on our customers Ricoh removes all packaging from equipment prior to the machines delivery. This packaging, which comprises cardboard, plastic bags and Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is either reused within each location or recycled reducing our reliance on virgin material.

Machines are delivered to our customers’ by specialized sensitive freight contractors wrapped in shrink-wrap, which is removed upon delivery and returned to the branch for recycling. 

By reusing or recycling packaging not only are we reducing our environmental impact, there are also cost saving benefits due to the reduction in waste to landfill.
