2003 - Awarded a Global 100 Gold medal for being the world's most sustainable company
2008 - Listed amongst the planet's top 100 sustainable corporations for the 4th consecutive year

19th Annual WEC Gold Medal Award 2003

In 2003, Ricoh was awarded the 19th annual WEC (World Environment Centre) Gold Medal for International Achievement in Sustainable Development. The prestigious WEC Gold Medal was awarded by an independent jury of distinguished international environmentalists to a corporation that demonstrates pre-eminent leadership and contributes to worldwide environmental quality 

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

The Office Equipment Partner of the Year award is EPA's highest industry award. Ricoh has also been recognised as an industry leader for its role in the manufacture and promotion of ENERGY STAR copiers, facsimiles and printers since 1996. In 2000 we received the Energy Star Award in 3 categories.

Climate is Business Award

2001 - In December 2001 Ricoh received the "The Climate is Business Award" from the European Business Council and US Business Council for our contributions to global warming prevention.
