Important Security Advisory for Ricoh Devices

Ricoh is committed to ensuring the ongoing security of our products and services. We would like to advise customers that security vulnerabilities may be identified from time to time that could affect supported Ricoh devices.

Customers are encouraged to regularly review the latest information published on the RICOH Global Security Vulnerability List to stay informed about any known issues and recommended mitigations.

To help maintain the security of your device, customers are strongly encouraged to keep firmware up to date and this can be done automatically when the device is connected to RICOH @Remote. For those devices without Internet access, you can download and use the RICOH Firmware Update Tool to ensure your device is updated with the latest available firmware.

Devices connected to @Remote can receive automatic firmware updates, allowing critical security updates to be deployed directly as they become available. If you would like to request @Remote connection to your devices, please email the RICOH Australia Device Automation & Connectivity team at [email protected].

Through the MSDS link on the Support page or via the Product Documentation section.

Paper misfeeds can be caused by the condition of the paper and how it is loaded. Paper should be stored in a dry, cool place and ensure you 'fan' the paper before loading.

You can also try printing from another tray. If this is successful, replace all paper in the problem tray with fresh paper from a new ream.

Be sure to check the correct paper size is set in the problem tray before you print by adjusting the three 'fences' in the paper tray so they are gently touching the sides of the paper.

An SC service code may be caused by something obstructing the finisher or stapling unit. Check there is nothing obstructing the trays (like a waste paper bin). Switch the power off, wait for ten seconds, then switch the power back on. If the problem still occurs, contact us for further assistance.
