Defending your data from notifiable data breaches

Australia’s Notifiable Data Breaches regulations may end up helping end users, but for schools across the country, the situation is less clear. Introduced to help provide clarity and protection of data held in both the public and private sector, the Notifiable Data Breaches regulations (also called the “NDB”) may require new infrastructure in affected institutions.

As such, more secure IT infrastructure is a key requirement, as is automation to improve paper data breaches and the prevention of information from falling into the wrong hands.
