IDC MarketScape names Ricoh a leader in managed workflow for Asia Pacific
Strong transformation strategy and extensive resources prove key to leadership position
SYDNEY, April 6, 2016 – Ricoh today announced that it has earned its leadership position related to managed print services and managed workflow services from the IDC MarketScape. According to the new "IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific 2015 Managed Workflow Services Hardcopy Vendor Assessment — Building on MPDS (managed print and document services),"1 Key factors that contributed to Ricoh's positioning include: strong overall strategy to transform to a services-led organisation, ability to provide real-life examples of business transformation from its own workplace in discussions with customers, large sales and services organisations and broad product range, and a variety of skill sets that enable the company to craft industry-specific solutions for each customer. The research evaluated companies’ offerings through business briefings and extensive vendor demonstrations as well as responses from thorough interviews with customers throughout Australia.
The 2015 MPDS IDC MarketScape focuses on managed workflow services, the most mature type of MPDS, encompassing an evolution to a set of professional and managed services that automate and optimise vertical and horizontal document-intensive workflows and business processes with results and benefits that are aligned with specific business outcomes.
